    Welcome to our Nursery

Welcome to our Nursery. We offer up to 30 hours provision, Monday - Friday, during term-time. Children are welcome to attend our Nursery from the age of three. Government funding for three year olds has traditionally started the term after the child's third birthday so please check what funding you are eligible for. Some children start at three years old but, space permitting, parents may privately for the first term. Sacred Heart School is at the centre of our community in Teddington and as with the school we welcome all Catholic and non-Catholic families. We are here to serve the local community.

    Nursery Admissions

Sacred Heart Nursery has places for up to 26 children aged 3-4 years.  Admission to the Nursery can be arranged for September, January or April starts depending on on the places available. The Admissions Policy attached below details the admissions process for the September intake, if places are still available after this intake then they are offered on a first come, first served basis.

We offer 15 hrs and an EXTENDED NURSERY PROVISION to those eligible for 30 HOURS FREE CHILDCARE and to those who are SELF-FUNDED. Places will be available every day during term time (not inset days). Sessions: morning 8:45-11:45am, lunch provision 11:45-12:15pm, afternoon 12:15-3:15pm.

Tours of the Nursery are welcomed and can be arranged by contacting the school office. Contact info@sacredheart.richmond.sch.uk or 020 8977 6591.

The policies that govern the operation of the Nursery are the school's own policies - see Policy section of this website or below. Admissions to the Nursery and the School are dealt with separately, and, whilst the Nursery is part of Sacred Heart’s Early Years unit, attendance at the Nursery does not guarantee entry into the Reception class, for which there is a separate Admissions procedure.

The Nursery team consists of: Mrs Kim Dell'Anno (Nursery Teacher) and Ms Lorna Hall (Nursery Assistant).

See additional information below for further details on how to apply.
